Lynn Baker
Executive Director

Lynn has worked with TOP DOG for 16 years. For the first five years, TOP DOG was a program of a sponsoring organization. Shortly after its creation, TOP DOG became sponsored by the Tucson Osteopathic Medical Foundation, and then by Terra Christa Communications, where Lynn worked as Director of Operations. More recently, Lynn has been working with TOP DOG, Inc. as Executive Director on a consulting basis. Her education and work experience in the non-profit sector are priceless assets to TOP DOG's overall operation and organizational structure.

Lynn's other community service work includes her position as Area Director of Lutheran Ministry of the Southwest, and as a consultant for Casa Gloriosa. She also serves on the TOP DOG Board of Directors and the Fundraising Committee. Lynn is a member of the National Society for Female Executives, and the National Center for Non-profit Boards.

Lydia Kelley
Vice President/Director

Lydia is one of the founding members of TOP DOG. She is currently Vice President on the Board of Directors, Training Director, and Head Instructor. Lydia has also performed client evaluations, has served as a Training Assistant and been the Board Secretary.

From 1979 until 1985, Lydia was associated with Handi-dogs. Since 1980, Lydia has been an instructor at Old Pueblo Dog Training Club, where she is also a member. She was an instructor with the Golden Retriever Club from 1984-2000. Furthermore, Lydia is a published author, with articles appearing in Off Lead magazine, and co-authored the Teamwork Series of books with co-founder, Stew Nordensson. The purpose of the Teamwork series is to teach people with physical disabilities how to train their own service dogs. Lydia also directed the making of the TEAMWORK books into video format.

Leo Enfield
Treasurer/Secretary/Director

Leo has been on the TOP DOG Board for six years. Leo's expertise in electronics, and knowledge of computers, was instrumental in getting the TOP DOG office up and running and he still consults whenever there is a management information system problem. Leo generously devotes his time, talents and resources to TOP DOG in spite of his full-time employment with the University of Arizona's Electrical & Computer Engineering Department.

Since 1991, Leo has done everything from providing general maintenance to assisting in development of the Volunteer class. As a Personal Assistant, Leo has one Certified Team to his credit.

Mary George
Vice President/Director

Mary George is one of the co-founders of TOP DOG. Mary was involved very actively with TOP DOG in its early days. After a brief hiatus, Mary is again involved in the program as TOP DOG's representative to Assistance Dogs International as the Vice President for State and National Affairs.

Involved with dog training since 1979, Mary brings extensive experience to TOP DOG. She has achieved certification with Sage (TOP DOG Team #002) and with Sedona (Top DOG Team #040), both golden retrievers. Mary is again working towards certification with Liberty, also a golden retriever.

As an instructor, Mary has taught all levels of TOP DOG classes. She has served as a Training Assistant helping several teams reach certification. Mary has also been active on several committees; Client Selection, Training and Certification. Mary has participated in many public speaking requests and has given demonstrations with each of her dogs to various groups.

Agnes Seidler
Board President/Director

Agnes Seidler was born and raised in Manhattan, New York. Agnes is the President and Operations Manager for AKSCO Construction, Inc., a local construction firm specializing in fine residential remodeling and custom home building. Agnes is a very dedicated volunteer Training Assistant for TOP DOG. As a Training Assistant, Agnes has worked with several student and dog teams providing knowledge, advice, encouragement and support enabling a team to successfully become a certified TOP DOG Team.

Beth Madden
Director

Beth joined the Board of Directors in 2005. Beth has a background in Education with both B.A. and M.A. degrees, and a M.A. degree in English Linguistics. Beth has taught English as a Second Language (ESL) for a number of years.

Beth and her husband, Bill, are parents of eight children. Their youngest son, Samir (Sammy), trained his dog, Ravi, a golden retriever, through the TOP DOG service dog training program. In 2004, Sammy and Ravi were certified as TOP DOG Team #78.

Pam Phillips
Director

Owner of P2 Preparedness – bringing safety class to businesses, groups and organizations in Southern Arizona.
Co-founder of Southwest Rescue Dogs, Inc (SRDI) – One of five Search and Rescue component groups utilized by the Pima County Sheriff’s Dept. Founded in 1993, SRDI has been involved in dozens of successful missions for lost people, evidence searches, cadaver searches and drowning victims.
Volunteer for:
American Red Cross - Instructor/Instructor Trainer for the Health & Safety Dept. Involved in the development and teaching of all land-based safety classes.
Girl Scouts - Involved with the Outdoor Training Program and Jamboree activities, as well as CPR/FA training for Leaders and staff.
Southern Arizona Rescue Association (SARA) - a 20-year member. Active with the medical training delivered to all members, as well as behind-the-scenes activities like gear maintenance, events, and fundraising.
TOP DOG - Involved with the events and fundraising for the organization.
